Areva T&D India said on Wednesday it won an order worth about 1.2 billion Indian Rupees from L&T Power Ltd, a unit of Larsen & Toubro, for a power project in the state of Madhya Pradesh.
The order involves manufacturing and installation of 400/220 kV substation, distribution and power transformers and switchboards for 2X600 MW thermal power plants of Madhya Pradesh state utility.
