Texmaco Ltd said on Tuesday that its board agreed to enter into a joint bidding agreement with Bombardier Transportation India Ltd to bid for the manufacture and supply of electric loco motives to Indian Railways.
The consortium with Bombardier Transportation, a subsidiary of Bombardier Inc., will bid for the manufacture and supply of 800 electric locomotives over a period of 11 years for the ministry of railways, Texmaco said in a statement
