Russia's hydropower monopoly RusHydro has purchased a 100% stake in engineering company Institute Hydroproject from Russian businessman Grigory Beryozkin's ESN Group, RusHydro said in a statement Friday.
The stake was purchased by Gidroinvest, a 100% subsidiary of RusHydro.
The value of the deal was not provided.
The acquisition is in line with RusHydro's strategy until 2015 aimed at the consolidation of scientific and engineering assets.
Institute Hydroproject focuses on designing hydropower and water-management facilities.
