Most of these activities are in that part of Kashmir which is under Pakistan control. CWE civil works in other Asian countries have been quite poor. Strategically, building these dams in occupied Kashmir by a company known for shoddy work will threaten a major ecological balance in the area. Massive inundation, movement of people, submergence of fauna and flora, threat to neighbors, and permanent take over by China of the local land seems to be the long term plan.
