ESSAR buys Argentina firm

Aegis business process outsourcing (BPO) arm of the Essar Group, Aegis, has acquired Argentina’s Actionline for an undisclosed price, propelling it to the league of top 10 outsourcing service providers globally. Aegis said on Tuesday that it has entered into an agreement with Y&R Inversiones Publicitarias SA and its business partner to fully acquire their jointly held BPO company, Actionline. While the consideration of the acquisition was not disclosed, Actionline has revenues of $50 million with an EBIDTA of 14%.
