Like the Greeks, the Hindu(s) (an Indian who follows Hindu religion) have a God for practically everything.
The God of Architecture is knows as Vishwakarma. This is his image:![]()
He is the Lord of Craftsmanship and is worshiped ardently by all workers who use any or all kinds of tools and tackles. It’s a Day Of Prayer and Worship of ones tools. This year it falls on Friday the 17th of September according to the Indian calendar. (Unlike the western solar calendar, Indian calendar is based on the Lunar system.)
Vishwakarma is the Son Of The Creator Of the Universe, who is known as Brahma – the Divine Draftsman. The Mahabharata describes him as "The lord of the arts, executor of a thousand handicrafts, the carpenter of the gods, the most eminent of artisans, the fashioner of all ornaments ... and a great and immortal god." He has four hands, wears a crown, loads of gold jewelry, and holds a water-pot, a book, a noose and craftsman's tools in his hands.
