| Sew Nyukcharong plans 96 MW Nyukcharong Chu HEP Project in Tawang Sew Nyukcharong Chu Power Corporation Pvt. Ltd is planning to set up the 96 MW Nyukcharong Chu hydro electric project in Tawang District of Arunachal Pradesh. The project involves construction of 46 meter high concrete dam across river Nyukcharong Chu in the confluence of Magochu. This project will be a run-off-the-river scheme, where the total land requirement is 25 ha. The project is estimated to cost Rs. 5195 million. The project is likely to be completed in 6 years time. The project involves construction of 161 meter high concrete dam across river Lohit near village Chingwinti. An underground power house will be constructed to house 8 units of 150 MW turbines. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 69,551 million and is likely to be completed in 7 years time. Shri. The project involves construction of a 105 meter high concrete gravity dam across river Tangon upstream of Etalin HEP. A underground power house will be built on village Apanli. The project involves construction of a high concrete gravity dam across river Chenab, an underground power house, 4.25 km head race tunnel with a gross head of 112 meter of full reservoir level. The project will be a run-off-the-river scheme. It may be noted, Bardang HEP and Reoli- Dugli HEP are located immediate upstream and downstream of this project. Total land requirement is around 250 ha.

| KSEB plans 2x20 MW Pambar hydro electric project Kerala State Electricity Board is planning to set up the 40 MW (2 x 20 MW) hydro electric project across river Pambar in Idukki district of Kerala. The project involves construction of a 36.5 meter high dam, about 500 meters downstream of Kovilkadavu bridge. The EIA study and other clearance are yet to be obtained. It may be noted, Chinnar wildlife sanctuary is located just 1 km away from the project site

| KHC Lethang plans 96 MW Lethang Hydro Electric Project KHC Lethang Hydro Project Pvt. Ltd is planning to set up the 96 MW Lethang Hydro Electric Project in Lethang in West district of Sikkhim very near to Kanchendzonga Wildlife Sanctuary. The project involves construction of 2136 meter of head race tunnel, installation of Francis turbine house (96 MW )as run-of-river project where it cannot store water beyond 5-10 minutes. Also the turbine cannot be operated with water flow below 5 cumec. It may be noted, the project was earlier mooted as 60 MW and now revised with new hydrological data calculations using 2009 post monsoon data
