Alstom SA has finalized a tripartite joint venture agreement with BHEL and Nuclear Power Corp. of India Ltd (NPCIL). This would help Alstom tap around 45,000MW of the Indian nuclear power market.
Alstom's Indian arm Alstom Projects India Ltd, power equipment maker BHEL and NPCIL are setting up a joint venture company to provide technical support and supply turbines to nuclear power projects in India.
