WIND: Gamesa Turbine Factory India

Gamesa, Spain's top wind turbine manufacturer, has announced the start-up of its first facility in South India – Chennai. This plant will produce 850KW WTGs.

There is a similar decision by Siemens to invest$95.54m in the construction of an Indian factory by 2012. Siemens has plans to invest more than $341.22million in India by 2012.
